BEDA 2013 #29: Some people...

Two more day of Blog every day April!!!  I am sad, but oh so relieved.  I am starting to run out of things to talk about, and I feel like I am repeating a lot of stuff now.

I have a story for you all tonight.  I was at work, and this couple walks in.  The girl in the couple was wearing a shirt that had the Hogwarts crest on it.  In my mind I was saying "Yes!  A fellow Potterhead!".  So as she was walking up to the usher stand, Me being a Potter fan, I asked her, "Which house are you in?"  She starts freaking out looking at her ticket probably thinking that I asked her which theater are they in.  I thought she misheard me, so I replied with, "I was referring to your shirt, which house are you in."  She grabbed at her shirt so she could look at it and said, "Oh I don't know what this is, I just thought it looked cool."....... WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  You bought a shirt of something you know nothing about.  I should have asked her if she had ever heard of Harry Potter, or said something along those lines, but I just let it go because I felt like it was a wasted cause.  I could have taught her the wondrous ways of Harry Potter, but they probably wanted to watch their move.  They also went to see Pain and Gain, so I lost hope.  I don't get how people could just wear something that obviously has a story behind the picture, but not know or not want to know what it is about.  The fact that she had no idea what Hogwarts was, just made me sad.  The worst part about it is I know where she got that shirt.  She got it at Kohl's, and it is hanging right underneath a Justin Bieber shirt in the juniors department.  Yep.  That's my little rant.

Moving on.  We got a Star Trek Into Darkness Standee in today, and Cooper, Katie and I got to build it.  That was pretty fun actually.  It is probably the easiest standees I have had to help make.  It was tall though, so that was the only problem.  It was funny because Coop was trying to flip it would be easier for us to attach the 3D effect piece on, and he started to walk backwards.  He got really close to the back piece, and I thought he was going to miss it, but he stepped on the first flap that was closest to him, and stepped right on the other flap causing it to rip in two places.  It was funny because he was like where were you two at.  I said, you said you had it, so I thought it was safe to think you had it.  It is too funny working with him.  Me and Katie were laughing.

Today's song is "Her Words Destroyed My Planet" by Motion City Soundtrack.  I need to start getting ready for Warped Tour and listening to the bands I want to see, and this is one of the bands I am super excited about seeing live!!!  I hear amazing things about them live, and I love their music, so it is going to be a blast seeing them!

Well until tomorrow, and the very last day of Blog every day April!

BEDA 2013 #28: Eh.

Today has been a pretty lazy day for me.

I slept in until 1 o'clock which I normally hate, but I felt like my body needed the extra rest.  Why, I don't know, but I woke up feeling great! :)

I just read a lot!!!  I got a good chunk of the Legend of Zelda Hyrule Historia taken care of, and I got about sixty more pages of The Great Gatsby out of the way.  I was usher tonight at work, so it helped me get through the Great Gatsby.  I love being able to read at work even if it is a couple of pages.  It helps me to not get cranky at work when I work with people I don't like.  I tend to have trouble reading at work when I work with people I do like because I am having conversations and just enjoying the company.  It is very rare that I don't work with at least one person that I like, so it is very hard for me to read anything unless I am put up at the usher stand.  I tend to breeze through books when I am up there.  And to think that I used to hate being usher.  Though of course that was when I wasn't aware that I could have a book up there, and that was also at the time when I liked all of the people I worked with.  I also had a big thing for not wanting to be alone at that point as well.  It was weird.

Anyway.  I just got home from work, and I need to edit a video for tomorrow, and I also need some sleep.  Patrick and I will be going to the insurance place to figure out if anything new has come up about his settlement.  He also has to call the towing company, and have his car towed to his garage, and then we have to go and fill out his graduation forms.  After that I am hoping that we will get to go to the Greenville HPA meeting at the library!  I am excited that I have finally been able to find an Harry Potter Alliance group in the area.  I tried making one in 2010 in Easley.  I asked a bunch of people if they would be interested in joining, but nobody responded, so I gave up on the idea for a while.  Apparently it had formed just a couple of months ago, so I am not too late in finding it.  Again, I am super happy!

Since I talked about the Harry Potter Alliance, I thought it would be very fitting to play a Wizard rock song for today.  It is "The Weapon" by Harry And The Potters.  This song is basically one of the songs that embody the Harry Potter Alliance as a whole!  It is one of those songs that make you want to sing along once you hear the opening chord.  I love it, and I always look forward to hearing it.  It is one thing to hear a recording of it, and another to hear Harry And The Potters play it live.  It is an amazing experience hearing it live, and if you ever get the chance to see them live, DO IT!!!  They have an amazing live show, and it is by far one of my favorite shows ever!  I got to see them at a library show, and it was cool because it was right before Leaky Con, and I got to go see it with my friend Jordan who I was in the Final Battle with, and it was awesome getting to hang out with her before the con!  I also got to see my friend Keith before the con, and Harry year four had a red and gold saxophone, and it was awesome!  This version of the song is from Prophecy.

Until tomorrow, Just know that the weapon we have is love!

BEDA 2013 #27: Read-A-Thon Fail

My skin is still really really soft from yesterday!

I am kind of failing at doing to read-a-thon.  I haven't even started, and I only have a couple of hours before I go to work, so I might only get a little bit of reading to do.  I wish the read-a-thon happened on a day that I wasn't working.  I might just have my own read-a-thon on my next day off.  I can read for 30 minutes, and take a break to either clean, or figure out my make-up for Misti-con.  I hope to get a couple of pages read at work as well when we hit some down time and I am finished my top of the shows list.  I just need to read!  Besides The Hyrule Historia that I read at night before bed, I have started the Great Gatsby.  I am enjoying what I have read so far, and I am hoping to have it finished before the movie comes out.  If there is ever a movie to come out that is based off of a book, I like to read the book first if I can.  I sometimes wait until the last minute, and miss getting to see the movie in theaters which sucks, but what can you do.  This time I started it a couple of weeks before it comes out, and since it is only one hundred and eighty something pages, I should be finished before it comes out.  I would also like to be finished with it before I go to Misti-con as well, and if I am super motivated, I would like to be finished with it before this month ends.  That is my ultimate goal for it.  That way I have more than just two books to showcase in my book wrap up video for April.  I have kind of slacked off with my read.  It's not that I am getting tired of reading, it is just that I have a lot on my mind with Misti-Con, and getting ready for that, and also helping Patrick with various things related to his wreck.  On days where we both have time to do things together, I would rather drive around in my car, than have him drive the Bronco that he is using until he can get a better car.  I don't want to make him have to pay 70 dollars to fill up his gas tank.  He has helped me a lot, and I want to help him as well.

Eric is very sore from the seminar last night.  I am glad that he had fun, and that it was worth going.  It was definitely worth it for me, and I am pretty sure if you read my blarg yesterday, you know all about how I enjoyed Lush.  haha  I think I might be annoying my mom with how much I am talking about it, but it was awesome, and I really want to take her to one of those stores, so we can get free facials and hand massages.  I think she would love it.  She has a problem with harsh smells like I do, and it gives us headaches when it is too strong and bothersome.  I feel like she would love it because the smells are natural.  There are no harsh chemical smells in that store.  It was very pleasant, and not over baring to my senses.  She would love it.  :)  Mom, if you are reading this, I am taking you and soon!

Today's song is "Walking on Air" by Kerli!  I love Kerli, and this video was my first time ever seeing her.  The moment I saw the video, I had to get her album, and it is still to this day one of my favorite albums!  She is an amazing songstress, and has a dreamy, soothing, and enthralling voice, and her songs just make me happy.  I get hints of Bjork sound in her voice, and that is what made me so interested in her, and it just makes me smile.  It is just so awesome to know that there are honest hard working people in the music industry making amazing content and putting their souls into the music and on the line for their art.  She is one of those that use her talents for good, and it is just awe inspiring.  I also love her style.  Whoever tries and say she is trying to copy Lady Gaga need to check the dates.  This video came out two years before Lady Gaga was ever on the music scene.  I hope you all enjoy the music video as much as I did when I saw it in 2003.  I am a moon child for life, and maybe when you watch it you will become a fellow moon child as well.

Until tomorrow

BEDA 2013 #26: Lush-oholic!

Today I officially became a Lush-oholic!

I went in there and all of the employees were super awesome and friendly, and it was probably the best customer service I have ever had (Thank you Rebecca and Sammy)!  All of the things smelled so good, and felt great on my skin.  Rebecca gave me a hand massage and let me try a bunch of the body and hand lotions, and Sammy gave me a facial.  All of the things made my skin feel great.  I am the kind of person who will put on lotion every once in a while.  I will start seeing that my legs or arms are ashy, and then start to use lotion, but I quickly remember why I never get on a lotion routine.  The lotions I try all are either too heavy, or too oily, and after a couple of days I quickly just don't like using it because it feels like it just doesn't work.  There are also times where I feel like the smell is too much for my senses, and I start getting a headache.  The smells are also never what they claim to be either.  The lotions that Rebecca let me use made my skin feel so amazing!!!  They absorbed into my skin really quickly, they didn't leave an oily residue, and they left a pleasant scent, and it smelled like it was suppose to!!!  She put this strawberry massage lotion on my arm, and it smelled of strawberries, and it made me think of picking strawberries (Which I am excited for strawberry season!!!).  She also put this rose body conditioner (which I will have to come back and get sometime in the near future), and it smelled like a rose garden, and felt so good.  I tried a body salt scrub and it made my skin soft.

Sammy gave me a facial, and she used a face wash, a facial mask and some facial lotion, and my skin feels so amazing, and looked brighter and healthy!  I have never seen my face look that healthy in a long time.

I might be speaking too soon (But I have a feeling I am going to be right), but I might not go back to any other type of face wash.  I got myself a hunk of the face wash she used, and I am going to try it out.  I might make a video on the stuff I use in the future.  I know that it takes a while for stuff to take its course and actually work, but I feel like I have found my cosmetic best friend.  I do wish there were a closer Lush store though.  I might request one, and if we do get one, I will work for it!!!  I would love to work there.  I can see why my friend Lena loved working for them!  I spent almost two hours in there, and one hundred dollars in there.  I have never spent that much on any cosmetic product before, and I feel foolish for doing so, but I love the way this stuff feels on my skin.  It feels way better than anything I have ever used, so to be honest, I do not regret it one bit.

I feel really bad for being bitchy about having to take Eric to his Wing Chun seminar.  It was really worth it.  I smell nice, and my face and hands feel amazing!

Anyways.  I am sitting right now outside of the Starbucks because they had tables and wi-fi.  haha  I have a couple of more hours to kill, and then I need to start heading back to where Eric is.  They are going out to eat after the seminar.  I hope we go somewhere good.  I love going to a city that is nowhere near where I live and eating someplace that is unique to that area.  It is really cool.  It makes me feel like I am expanding my horizons!  :)

Well.  I am tired of sitting, and I still have a whole mall to explore.  I would love to go back to lush, but I would be really tempted to buy more stuff.  I just need to get away from the food court as well.  I might be tempted to eat something before dinner.

Today's song is one of the songs that were playing while I was getting my facial.  It is No Doubt's "Don't Speak"  I do really love this song.  It is a sad song, and I don't know if I have mentioned this before on my blog, but I hate sad and slow songs.  There are a few exceptions to that rule, and this song is one of them!  I love the music video!  The song and the video expressions the feelings that were going on in the band at that time in their career.  It was at that time that No Doubt was starting to get big, but instead of magazines and media wanting to showcase the band as a whole, they really only wanted to push Gwen out into the spotlight, and that almost caused the band to break up.  Thank goodness they didn't break up!  They are still one of my favorite bands, and I am glad they are still around!  I was super happy when they released their new album!  So here is the song, and I hope you all love like I do!

So I did get to post after all.  I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to!

Tomorrow, I am going to be participating (until I go to work) a 24 hour read-a-thon.  I just found out about it this morning, but it looks like fun, and I need to catch up on my reading anyway by a LOT!  Here is the link to that!  http://24hourreadathon.com/

Alright Love you all, and until tomorrow!

BEDA 2013 #25: All Is Well.

I needed to rant yesterday because right after I posted my blog yesterday, I felt twenty times better.  I felt like a weight was lifted, and Patrick was able to cheer me up to my normal happy self.  I have figured out a couple of things to do in the four hours I will be alone, so everything is perfectly fine.  The good thing about posting blogs is that it is kind of therapeutic.  It allows you to get negative feelings and thought out of you, and you can heal from there.  It might not be great to read, but you can also tell who is real with their writing.  I really do put my heart out there for the world to see, and sometimes it is pretty and sometimes it isn't.  That's just one of the things about being a human, you go through rough patches, but it is how you go through it and how you turn out in the end that really matter.  You will either come out of it not learning a thing and falling back into that kind of situation, or you come out a better person learning from your mistakes, and avoid those triggers.  I like to think I am the latter, but I know I sometimes don't learn everything that needs to be learned.

Onto what I will be up to while I am in the Atlanta area.  It is kind of boring, but I am taking the opportunity to do these.  I am going to two different malls (I looked it up, and apparently the area is chalk full of malls.  It is rather weird how many there are in just one small area.), and I will be going to both of the sephora's (Hopefully I will find what I need in the first one) to look for a Soap and Glory face wash that I recently have fallen in love with, and one of the malls I am going to has a lush store, so I am definitely going there!  I have always wanted to go to a lush store especially since I found out about them when I went to infinitus and they had a booth set up.  I wish I could have gotten something when I was there, but I was flat broke, and only could afford the bare essentials.  Luckily I get paid tomorrow, so I will be able to buy a couple of things.  I won't be able to go crazy because I still have Misti-Con coming up in two weeks (God time has gone by too quickly), and I still have my insurance on my car to pay for next month and I have to pay my taxes on the car as well.  It sucks how quickly money can deplete.  It's insane!

Anyways.  I probably need to get some rest so I am not tired when I am driving tomorrow.

Today's song is a good one.  It is Cherri Bomb's cover of "Pretender" by the Foo Fighter's.  It is really great cover, and it just shows that women can rock just as hard as men.  Another great thing about Cherri Bomb is that they are all under seventeen!  They kick so much ass, and sound way better than a good number of bands that have been out on the music scene for years and decades even!  It just shows that you can do anything if you put you mind to it, and that age is but just a number, and should not keep you from doing what you really want to do in life!  I know that Julia is no longer in the band, and that they had creative differences, but things happen, and they are still growing up, so they still have a lot to learn about the music industry.  All of the members will be great musicians, and regardless of if Nia, Miranda, and Rena  are still Cherri Bomb in the next couple of years, I have a feeling they will all go really far, and be magnificent.  I wish them all the best, and at least I got to see them at Warped Tour.  They were by far my favorite band of the day.

I hope you all have a great night, and I love you all!  I am not sure if I will have a blog tomorrow due to being in atlanta a good majority of the day.  If I can find a place that has wi-fi, I will definitely post something.  We will see what happens as it happens.

Good night, and until next time

BEDA 2013 #24?: Bi-Polar blog is Bi-Polar!

These first two paragraphs are rather depressing, so if you want to skip them, go ahead.  I would not blame you at all.  I just need to vent about how I feel today, and how I will be feeling about tomorrow.

You ever have those days where you just want to be void of all human contact.  Except for two people, those being my mom and Patrick, if I didn't talk to anybody else, I would be perfectly fine.

I have always been one of those people who could be a real people person, and love to make friends, then have my days where I am introverted like crazy, and not want any human interaction at all and be fine with it.  It really is a toss up when I am like that.  One thing that always causes my introversion was when certain people make me frustrated, push my buttons, or just use me basically.  I felt like yesterday, and it was not fun at all.  Yesterday was my day off too, so it just made it even more frustrating.  The next day off I have coming up (Which is Friday) is going to be filled with me taking my brother to Atlanta, and I am basically going to be driving for 2 or more hours, sitting in my car for the four hours he is going to be doing his Wing Chun stuff (Probably bored out of my mind, and with no internet.  I just have a feeling), and then driving home for another 2 or more hours.  That's a fantastic way to spend your day off isn't it?  Could you feel the sarcasm seeping from that sentence?  I hope so.  It would be fine if I had somebody with me that could drive as well, and if needed take over driving if I got too sleepy, or just to keep me company while Eric is doing Wing Chun.  I am hoping to find something to do for the time he is going to be doing his Lessons with a grand master, but I have little hope that I will find something that will catch my interest for four hours.  If any of you who live in the Atlanta area know of something that is free to do and can entertain for hours, please let me know.  I am very desperate to not be bored.

Yeah.  This is a pretty depressing blog so far.  I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't make it this far in my blog.  I will hope to be happier in the rest of this blog.

I finally found myself a dress to wear at the masquerade ball at Misti-Con, and I am super excited!  I feel so incredibly happy when I am at Potter cons.  I just ooze with joy, and it is the one environment where I want to be around people all the time.  My mom and I are going, and we are super excited, but I feel like the time for us to go has just crept up on us.  It just felt like yesterday that we had a couple of months to prepare.  Now we have a little over two weeks.  I still have a couple of things I want to do cleaning wise around the house and in my car, and I still have a few make-up and costume things I need to figure out for my cosplay.  I also have to create a to-pack list, and I feel like I am not prepared at all.  It is coming too quickly, and I am excited, but it could slow down a little bit.  Well at least until I have everything I need at least it can slow down, but after come as quickly as possible!

I want to play a happy song today for you all, so I am going to go back to the early 90's for R.E.M.'s "Shiny Happy People".  Even though this song is meant to be ironic, and was kind of rebelling against the poppy music that was coming out at that time, but I can't help but smile and be happy every time I hear it.  I just want to dance and sing along every time it comes on.  Here it is.  I hope you all enjoy it, and that it makes you smile as it makes me smile when I need it most!

This was a rather long, and almost bi-polar post.  Happy here, and depression there.  Here is to hoping tomorrow is a happier post, and until Tomorrow.

I have been bad these past two days when it came to blogging.  Sunday, I only wrote a couple of sentences, and yesterday I didn't even write a blog.  Every time I have done Blog Every day in April or August or National Novel Writing Month (Or NaNoWriMo), I always find out exactly where my creative limits are.  It is always either the second to last week or the last week that I get extremely burnt out on writing.  Whether I want to or not though I always try and finish no matter what.  I like to write, and doing these month long writing sprees, it helps my writing more and more.  I love doing them, and even though I always get a little tired of writing, it makes me better.

Today I am hanging out with my friend who is leaving us on Thursday to move to Florida.  I am very sad about it, but I know that it is the best thing for her, and her future.  She is excited that she will get to go to school while she is there, and pursue the career that she has told me she has been wanting to do for a long time.  I am very proud of her for taking this leap because it is hard to leave a place you have gotten comfortable with for years, but I think she will do great things.  She won't be alone down there.  She has family to stay with, and if I get the chance, I will be visiting her as much as I possibly can.

I am going to end this blog now because I want to post how I am frustrated at my brother for this week in general, and how one of Patrick's friends just keep using him yet he continues to give them money, but I would probably get even more pissed off.

On that note, I am going to go.

Today's music video is "Break Stuff" by Limp Bizkit.  I am in one of those moods where I want to break everything, and not feel bad about it.  I think this song conveys my frustrations right now.

Until Tomorrow

BEDA 2013 #20: Happy 4/20 Everyone

I hope you all celebrated it like it was a normal day.

I had to wake up super early this morning (try 5:45 am) to take Patrick to work.  He was involved in a wreck last night.  He is perfectly fine just sore, and our two friends that were in the car as well are also a little sore, but perfectly fine, which makes me happy.  Five Speed (His car) was not so lucky.  It is totaled.  :(  That car has brought many a happy memory, so I am sad that it didn't make it, but It kept my boyfriend and friends safe so it died an honorable death.  The accident was not his fault.  He was making a left turn at a green light that he had, and the people that hit him ran their red light and they were going fast too.  The only real good thing about this story is that there was a Cop car right there to witness EVERYTHING!  The cop car was making a left turn onto the highway Patrick had just exited, and knew that the people ran the light even though they tried to lie about it and say they had the green.  I am surprised the officer didn't do a breathalyzer test on the driver of the other vehicle.  The officer gave them a subpoena, but since he was Patrick's witness, he was not issued one!  Justice!!!  It is people like that who don't pay attention that make driving on the roads a living hell sometimes!

I am just glad and thankful that Patrick is safe, and that our friends are also safe.

I am just going to get to the song of the day which is New Found Glory's "My Friends Over You".  It came on my zune a couple of moments ago when I was on my way from Patrick's house, and I just love them.  I think they are swell.  This is the first song I had heard of theirs when it came out, and I have really been hooked from there.  The video is also funny at times as well, and that always helps for me.
Until tomorrow

BEDA 2013 #19: Busy day leads to busy night.

Or slow night if I am lucky!!!

Friday's have become my super busy day as of lately.  Today was no different.  I filmed, edited, and published my weigh-in video (Which can be seen here), Took Eric to his Wing Chun lesson, went out to eat, then Eric and I went to Home Depot, back home to drop off my mom's food, hobby lobby, radio shack (for Eric twice), and Lowes.  We got back home at 3 where, I finished my weigh-in video (due to forgetting to upload one clip that was needed.), got ready for work, and I am now posting the blog while trying to get on my other computer so I can update my zune with some of my newer music.  I also got to fit in some reading which is always good.

love busy days.  I don't care if I have said that before because it is just a true fact for me.  I tend to get more when when I push myself to be busy.  When I give myself a bunch of small things to do, I tend to have a better time getting it done than if I set myself one big goal for the day.  I have more motivation, and it is a great feeling when you know you get so much done throughout the day.

Tonight I work closing concession, and I have to clean the popcorn machine like I did Wednesday.  I have mixed feelings on how busy I think it is going to be tonight.  We only have one movie coming out tonight which is Oblivion with Tom Cruise.  I think that it will bring more of the older crowd, but not many teenagers (YESH!).  It is raining so that can either mean it will be slow, or it will be busy because there is nothing else to do when it rains in Easley.  Either way, I am ready to take on what comes at me.

Today's song is "Saria's song" from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.  This is one of my favorite songs from the game, and I just had an urge to hear it.  :)

Until tomorrow!

BEDA 2013 #18: A Quickie

I am still at Patrick's house, and I left my laptop at my house.  So it was either post a quick blog here, and drive safely, or try to drive home super quick to write a quick blog.  I think we all know which one won out.

I basically just cleaned my room today.  I vacuumed, and now I just need to figure out where things should go.  Vacuuming my room is my accomplishment of the day because my floor NEEDED IT!!!  While doing it I watched the rest of Josh Jepson's Ocarina of Time let's play while doing it.  He is one of my new favorite let's players.  I also caught up on The Runaway Guys LP of The New Super Mario WiiU game.

Either than that, I haven't done anything really of interest.

That was my quickie blog.

Until Tomorrow, and a better blog.

BEDA 2013 #17: No Energy

Don't you just hate those days where you accidentally over sleep, and no matter what you do, you just don't feel energized or awake.  I HATE those days.

I am not a fan of over sleeping.  When I was younger I probably didn't mind it, but once I started band, I have grown to hate it.  My body can survive on six or less hours of sleep.  In fact I feel a lot more energized when I sleep less than six hours than I ever have with 8 or more.  I don't get it, but whatever.  I like waking early in the morning because I feel like I get more done throughout the day if I do so as opposed to waking up later and staying up later.  Once it becomes dark, my body just starts to slow down and not want to do anything.  I miss the days where I could clean my room until three or four in the morning with no regret, and waking up at 11 the next morning.

It is also raining, so that is also making me even more tired.  Patrick loves the rain.  No matter what time of the year, if it rains, he gets all giddy!  He calls it frolic land.  I call it nap time.

Patrick and I have been chilling today.  He took a nap, and you can tell how exhausted he has been because he was almost hyper when I went to take a shower, and when I got out o the shower, he was asleep.  He is cute.  :)

I have work tonight, and I am concession 6 (Or C6), and that basically means I have to clean the popcorn machine tonight and won't be leaving work until well after midnight.  Hence why the blog comes to you so early, and it is so short.

Today's song is "From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness" by Coheed and Cambria.  I asked Patrick to give me the first song to come to his mind, and this was it.  I was glad it was a Coheed song because I think they are pretty freaking awesome!  If you ever get the chance to them live DO IT!!!!  They are worth seeing, and they were probably my favorite live show so far!!!

Well until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #16: Cleaning and reorganizing my bookshelf.

I just now realized that I have yet to write a blog today...It is a good thing I looked at the clock when I did. haha

So basically the title tells you what my day has consisted of.  I have been needing to clean my room for the longest time, and I finally have a day off to do so!  Last time I worked on my room, I cleaned out my closet, and put my sock drawer in there to give me more room to work with.  Today I worked on shredding receipts and other things that have my personal information that I no longer have a use for, and the major thing being reorganizing my book shelf.  It has basically been collected more and more books, and the way I had it before made it hard to have everything shelved neatly.  Before going from top to bottom I had: my J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter Shelf on top. The books I have read with the small paperbacks lying down stacked on top of each other against the right wall and in alphabetical order. The first row of unread books all paperback just like the read shelf, but in no order. my second row of unread books with the normal row of books and two tall stacks of books in front of it. The bottom row consisting of random magazines, d.i.y. books, cook books, exercise books, year books, and random notebooks.  I organized it to all be in alphabetical order, except my top shelf.  It is still my potter shelf, but with a few added favorites to help fill space until I get books 6 and 7 back of Harry Potter (Griffin if you are reading this, which I doubt you are, I would like them back please.  They miss their home, I can feel it...Yeah I'm crazy, so what?).  Here is what it looks like after I organized it.
Those are my dreads in the middle shelf.  And the book that is lying down on the second shelf is the book I am currently reading, I just wanted to make sure I fit it into the shelf.

Well I better get back to work. (Also it is 7 minutes away from midnight, so I have to hurry this up.)

Today's song is "Fallen Leaves" by Billy Talent.  Why?  Because I wanted to listen to a Billy Talent song, and it was the first song to pop up.  I love Billy Talent.  I have yet to hate any of their songs, which is a quality I like in my favorite bands! Also I have been listening to them the past few days.  Their music never gets old, which is also another quality I like in my favorite bands! :)

Until Tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #15: Small accomplishment of the day.

I don't have much time to write this blog because I just got home...35 minutes after I was suppose to clock out.  I wouldn't be so flustered right now if I wasn't so close to going over our 28 hours week limit.  I just don't want to get yelled at.  Too much to do, and so little time to do it.  Maybe I should bit just a little bit less of a stickler to detail.  Oh well.

Since I don't have much time, the only thing I am going to do is my small accomplishment of the day.  I might do this more often or every day from now on.  It would be cool.

Well in 2009, I fractured my ankle, and since then I have't been able to stand on that foot on my tip-toe.  I like to dance just for fun when I am by myself, and I haven't been able to because it would hurt just for my foot to be even an inch off the ground without hurting.  Even wearing high heels hurt my ankle.  Well Today was the first time I have gotten to stand on it on it's tip-toe.  That made me happy because I have missed being able to do certain dance moves.  I don't know if it is because I have been working out, or if it just because I am a little bit lighter.  I don't care, but I am excited!  It opens up a bunch of new workouts for me to do.

Today's song is Don Henley's "All She Wants To Do Is Dance".  The song speaks for itself.  All I want to do is dance!  Also this has been one of my favorite songs since I was a little girl, so I am also happy to share with people my favorite songs!

I made it just in time, and now until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #14: Happiness is a gift!

I watched a lot of good videos both last night and today that I want to show with you.

"Keep Smiling!" is a video my friend Charlie made and posted yesterday.  I was going to watch it yesterday before work, but I waited to watch it after work when I would actually be sitting still and paying attention.  It was the right thing I needed at the right time.  She is really awesome, and you should subscribe to her channel!

"Team Rocket's Motto"  Do I really have to explain this video?

"Vlog 70: I Hate Diets"  If you have never heard of David So, you are missing out.  He is HILARIOUS!!!  If you have the time go through, and watch all his vlog videos starting with vlog #4 where he is talking about Alexandra Wallace.  That is the first video I watched of his, and I was hooked from then on.

"Screen Grab - Simon's Cat"  Patrick ran by this randomly, and I thought it was the cutest video ever for being a cartoon.  The thing about this video is that I could actually see cats do this in real life.  I will let the video speak for itself.

They made me smile and/or laugh the last two days, and I hope that you enjoy them as well!

Today's highlight of my day is when my mom and I went to the store to get things for dinner.  The chicken we were getting was really thick, and mom thought about getting one of those hammer things, and I said, "I will beat the meat."  And she laughed.  Fast forward to when we are home, and I am hammering the crap out of the chicken breast, I created a song to go along with it.  The words of the song only included the words Beating the meat...  Yep.

Today's song of the day is the last video I watched today that made me happy.  It is a harp duo cover of The Ballad of the Goddess from The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword.  The two ladies that made this cover are know as the harptwins: Camille and Kennerly.  They did the cover with electric harps, and I love it!  The Ballad of the Goddess is probably my favorite song to come from Skyward Sword.  I hope you all enjoy this.

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #13: Throw Back.

I just want to make an addendum to a previous post dedicated to a certain someone.  I don't know your story, I get that, but I don't care about your business.  That's your business, and I respect that.  On the other hand, when you are at work, do work, and don't be a whiny little troll about it.  Myself and others get tired of having to pick up the slack.  It gets very tiresome.  This blog is my way of expression my feeling, frustrations, and thoughts.  I wouldn't have to post blogs like the one I did if there were no problems, and if you have a problem with that, then to use your own words, mind your own business!

Now that I got that out of my system, it can now be out of mind (hopefully).

Onto happier things.

I finally got my reading stride back, and have gotten through the book that I should have finished about two weeks ago.  I hate being distracted by other things.  It is not that I have no interests in the book I was reading, but Atlanta came up, and then I got the Hyrule Historia (Which I mention a lot because it is just that amazingly awesome!), and I just have the strongest urge to read through it.  I am getting through it pretty quickly, and I am loving it.  I just read it before bed, and get through about ten pages every night.

Patrick introduced me to an anime called Guyver; Bio-boosted armor, and it is pretty awesome.  Way before I even met him, he had bought a box set of the amine, but it was missing parts one and seven.  I bought them for his birthday this year, and as an added birthday present, I would watch the series with him since it is his favorite anime.  We are currently are on episode 5 and I am enjoying it so far. Apparently the manga that the series is based off of is 300 volumes long and still running.  That is pretty impressive for a manga.  Not many last longer than 50 let alone 100, so it must be a very successful series.

Toady I am going to leave you with the theme song from Guyver.  I think it is a pretty cool song, and the opening sequence to the show is pretty cool as well.

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #12: Tired as f*@k!

As I am writing this, I am eating Peanut butter pie...probably not the best thing for me to eat at 11:30 at night right before I go to bed, but it's delicious!

I don't know why, but all day I have just been really exhausted!  It really baffles me because I slept well last night.  I was woken up suddenly by my brother.  He has Wing Chun private lessons every Friday morning, and because of that I have to wake up an hour before he does so I can do my weigh-in stuff.  He knows that I do this, yet he decides to wake me up an hour before we have to be at his class.  Not only does he do that, but he decides to take a shower after he wakes me up.  The thing is I know that he was awake at 7 because he doesn't sleep at night.  He could have at least woken me up at 7:30.  I at least need to be awake for two hours before I drive or else I will want to fall asleep.  I hope he learns from this.  Since I was driving him, he was on my time for doing that.  I weighed myself, and took my time.  If he had a problem with it, then oh well!

Anyways.  I lost 3.6 pounds this week, so I am happy.

I hate it when it is really bright outside when I am driving.  If I forget to grab a pair of sunglasses, I tend to squint.  Once I start squinting, I have the urge to close my eyes and fall asleep.  I blame my sleepiness on the brightness outside.  I came home and took a nap while waiting for a package to come in.  That was fun.

Today's song is "Cheer Up" by Reel Big Fish.  I listened to this song earlier to cheer myself up from the disaster of a morning.  Reel Big Fish is my go to band to cheer myself up.  It's weird seeing as how most of their songs are quite depression almost.  Oh well.

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #11: Around Greenville

Today I spent all of my time in Greenville.  Why you might ask?  Because it is a hell of a lot more interesting than Easley.

One of Patrick's classes was cancelled today because his Teacher wasn't going to be there, and since it was his earliest class we decided to make a day of it.  He had to go to class at two, so we went to lunch, and hung out at the restaurant until he had to go to class.  I then had four hours in Greenville until Patrick finished with his classes for the day.  I decided to go to the mall to just walk around.  I am not a big fan of the mall.  I only like a couple of stores, so there really is no big reason for me to go to it a lot.  I like just walking around.  It is great exercise and a great way to waste time really.

When I was walking around Hot Topic, I got into a conversation with the girl that was working about fandoms.  When she started working for Hot Topic, she got into Doctor Who.  I told her that it is addictive.  We talked about the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  Apparently the reason why the original is become so popular again is because there is an animated version of the show in Japan.  Who knew.  I hope it makes its way over here because I loved the original Power Rangers.  I have started watching them again on Netflix.

She also said that she wanted to see what all the hype was about the new My Little Pony, so she watched an episode just to see, and that she became addicted!  haha  She said because of her job at Hot Topic, she has become a fan of so many good stuff because it has basically become a nerd cave of fandom merch.  I told her that you can tell when a show or movie is amazing by the fact that it has a very active and growing fandom.  She was fun to talk to.  I would like to work there.  I have tried applying, but I never got a call back.  I might try re-applying after Mist-Con.  I have never had a problem talking with anybody that works there.

I went to Panera and had a tea, went to Spencer's and bought something for my cosplay at Misti-Con, browsed at Character World and wished I had more money, and went to smell random teas at Amanzi Tea.  That is basically what I do every time I go to the mall!  Except the Panera thing was new because I never really had a reason to go there until now with my Chrome book in tow.  I am addicted to the internet, so sue me.

I then went to The Barnes and Noble across the street for the mall where I looked at all the pretty books that I want for my own.  If I had the money, oh buddy would I need more book shelves!!!  I basically just sat at the cafe, and read my book which I need to be doing.  I am sooooooo behind on my reading.  It is either this Chrome book or The Hyrule Historia that is distracting me (Well at least with the HH, I am reading, but it is not the book I need to be reading.).

I picked up Patrick once he was out of class, and we went to his place.  I read a little more and watched youtube videos, and He filled out his application to become a full time employee at his place of work.  :) Then he played Skyrim.  Skyrim is not really my type of game, but it is full of beautiful scenery!  It has amazing detail to the game, I will give them credit for that.

Today's song of the day is "Zero Gravity" by Kerli.  I have loved Kerli's music for years, and her videos are out of this world amazing!  I am proud to say I am a Moonchild!  Integrity. Love. Unity!  I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do!

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #10: Distractions Can Sometimes Be Fun.

I have always been one of those people who get very easily distracted at even the tiniest thing.  I let the distraction take over my brain and I forget what ever it was that I was either supposed to do or going to do. It happens a lot when I am trying to clean my room.  When I was organizing my desk, I would go on youtube to find a video as background noise to help me out.  Instead I would sit there for hours watching video after video and maybe one drawer would be organized, or a couple of things would be put back in it's place.  When I was organizing where my gameboy games would go, I grabbed one of the games and started playing it.  If I sat on my bed to rifle through things, odds are I would lay down and rest my eyes only to wake up about two hours later not happy that I wasted my time.

Today, I was handed a butt load of distractions, but I enjoyed them.  I was going to clean my room.  It is one of the things I want to do before I go to Misti-Con.  I don't want to come home to a messy room especially since I have a feeling I will be returning with a lot of books and stuff!!!  Well I get a text from a friend who wanted copies of a couple of bands albums.  I like helping a friend out, and it is a friend I haven't seen in a while, so it didn't bother me because it means we got to catch up just for a little bit.  I had to wait for a book to come via ups, so I had to wait downstairs for it to come.  I got to do a couple of exercises, so you know I would never complain about that.  The last distraction I had, but definitely my most favorite one was Patrick getting off work really early.  I love hanging out with him, so why would he ever be a bad distraction?!?

The only distractions I have a sort of problem with is...I hate to say this, but....the internet.  Don't kill me!  *Cowards behind couch*  Don't get me wrong, I love the internet.  There are a lot of things I probably would have never gotten to do if it was not for the internet.  I would have never found the Harry Potter fandom, never have gone to a con, I would have never found all of the awesome friends I have made and that I love, and most importantly I would have be dating Patrick.  So I have no problems with the internet, until I have things to do.  The internet turns into a very tempting void of youtube videos, tumblr posts, facebook statuses, and cute kittens.  The moment that I have something important to do like clean my room, make or edit a video, or organize my hard drive, I want nothing more than to get on the internet and browse.

Anyways, that was my rant on distractions.  It was random, but that is what my day was full of.

Today's song is Tally Hall's "Good Day".  It kind of fits the theme of the blog today because I feel like the people who wrote the song got distracted by a lot of things.  It is a cool song, and cool video.  The video also gives off the vibe of distraction as well.

Well until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #9: Some of my favorite game apps.

I am very easily distracted by online games.  So much that I forgot to eat my dinner earlier, and had to re-heat it.  I like playing new games, especially if they are puzzle and brain games.  What can I say, I love a challenge.  So here are some of my favorite online games.  I will include links to them so you may be distracted...I mean you can enjoy them too.

The first game is one that I played a long time ago, but have just recently rediscovered.  It is call Chain Reaction, and it is pretty fun.  There are ten levels.  In each level you have to expand a certain number of balls.  In the first level you have to expand 1 out of 5 balls.  The second 2 out of ten balls, and the numbers increase as you go.  The more and more levels you do the longer the chain reaction will be.  You have to watch where they balls are moving, and click at just the right spot.  You have to have good perception as well as good reaction, and luck is always handy.  It is fun if you just need something to pass your time for a little bit.  It does make me sad that there are only ten levels.  I do wish it were longer of a game.

The second game is one I found yesterday, and I am rather addicted to it.  It is called Little Alchemy, and this will probably be the game that gets you to spend countless hours playing to the point where you forget that you have dinner in front of you to eat....  Enough about that.  You basically start off with the four basic elements; Water, Fire, Earth, and Air.  From there you have to create 360 different things by mixing the elements together.  Very simple, yet very addictive!  I so far have 210 things, and it is a little hard to figure out combinations, but I will not stop until I get all 360 objects.  Though of course by the time I get to that point, there will be new elements added because they let people suggest elements!!!  If you have an idea for an element that has to have been added, they will add it to the list!  Pretty cool of them.  This is my Angry Birds.  I may not have a life for a while.

The third and final game is a puzzle game called Bloxorz.  You are given a course and a block that when it is lying down flat it is two squares long, and you basically have to get the block into the hole at the end of the course.  Sounds simple, but when put into action, you have to maneuver it just the right way. There are times where you make it to the end, but have to move the block around the hole so that you can actually get it into the hole.  There are courses that include bridges that you have to activate by pressing a button, and at times you have to press it just a certain way for it to activate.  It is a fun game, but I would advise to not play it when you are in a foul mood.  I can just picture people throwing their laptops/screens/tablets/etc. across the room at a wall in frustration.  haha

I hope you enjoy these games as much as I do, and remember to game responsibly.

Today's music video is from the band Vendetta Red, and the song is Shatterday.  Back when I listened to music almost 24/7 this was one of the songs that I loved to sing along to.  It is still one of my favorite songs, and it sticks to hear that the band Vendetta Red is no longer around.  They were one of the bands I thought would go places, but I guess it was at that point that the music industry was moving on and looking for  different styles.  Oh well.  It's still a good song!

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 # 8: Nap worthy day

Today was so long, and all I wanted to do was take a nap for a good part of the day.

I went to work, and we had a little less than 20 people for the 1 o' clock showings and the 4 o' clock showings.  We unloaded a palette of concession stuff and were able to put it up and leave the box office and concession area empty for about 30 minutes if that tells you how not busy we were.  I also want to point out that unwrapping of a palette is so much fun.  You get to stab, and rip saran wrap apart, and then put it into a big ball.  I found out today that you can make it into homemade bubble wrap.  I am too easily amused.

One of my co-workers woke up to being called into work today for someone who called in "sick".  The other floor staff person I was working with was not feeling well, and she looked like she was sick.  She went home with-in the first 30 minutes, and was replaced with...you will never guess...the person who called in sick.  And guess what, she didn't look sick at all.  In fact she was perfectly normal.  How ironic.  Then she does basically nothing until about an hour before she leaves.  Don't you just love that?

Sorry, that last paragraph was chalk full of sarcasm.  I apologize for that. haha

I then clock out, retrieve my chrome book from home, go get my brother food, and then go to my boyfriends house.  From there we go to Ruby Tuesdays, and have yummy food, and come back to his place where I play a bunch of little games which I want to talk about tomorrow.  They are super awesome.  Then after a while...I take a nap.  I then wake up 20 minutes before midnight and rush to post a blog.

If I knew I was going to take a nap I would have type this up way before.  Whoops!!

Today's song is Groove Is In The  Heart by Dee-lite.   Why you might ask?  Because it is freaking awesome!!!!!  Need I say more?

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #7: Book buying Sunday.

Today has been a pretty busy day.  It is another one of those days where I have to post early because I go into work at 5, and I am not sure I will be able to post before midnight.  So here I am with half a day under my belt, and I would like to think I got a lot done.

My mom and I went to go work.  It is the first time this month that I have gotten to do a full workout.  I needed it badly because I feel so much better.  I love it when a work out makes you feel a lot more energized.  That feeling is my drug.  I don't need marijuana, alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs at all.  I get my adrenaline fix with making myself healthy.

After working out we went to Wal-mart to get blinds and toilet paper.  We came out with way more than we wanted too.  That always happens.  At least most of the time it is things we use up pretty quickly.

We went home so I could shower, and we then went to the Library 1st Sunday book sale.  It probably isn't the safest place for me to go because I always want to buy books, and the books are very cheap.  I bought 8 books 7 of those books for me, and one for my friend.  I was going to go on a book buying ban, but that will never happen for me.  haha

The only thing I am hoping for at work tonight is that I work with people who go to work.  Like I said yesterday, I don't like having to pick up people's slack.  Since it is Sunday, I have a feeling that it won't be too terribly busy for the seven o'clock rush due to evening church services.

Hopefully after work I will be able to hang out with Patrick, and some of our friends.  Patrick works twelve and a half hour shifts on the weekends, works either Monday's or Wednesday's for ten hours, and has classes Tuesday's and Thursday's for six hours (Well starting back up this week due to spring break being this past week.), so I have a feeling he will be exhausted tonight.  If he is asleep, I can always just go visit them by myself, but I would like him to be able to hang out as well.  These are friends that I met through him, and they will be moving to Florida in the next coming month, so I don't want him to miss some of the last times we will get to hang out with them for a long while.

Well It is about time for me to actually go to work.  I love living five minutes away from where I live.  It is very convenient.

Today's song of the day is "Ready For The Floor" by Hot Chip.  This song is very cool.  In fact I am really enjoying all of the Hot Chip songs I have been listening to.  They are a very awesome band.  The music video is pretty awesome as well. Very Batman like, and I love it so much!

Anyways until tomorrow (And hopefully a little bit more entertaining)

BEDA 2013 #6: All Stickered up.

I finally got around to decorating my chrome book with stickers.  I had a hard time choosing which stickers to go with because I have SO MANY!!!  I started collecting stickers since I was very young.  I still have pokemon stickers from when it first came out.  They are mostly beat up though, so I couldn't really use any of them. :(  I have an entire box full of them, and really nowhere to stick all of them...until now...

This is what I came up with.  I am representing some of my favorite fandoms (I still don't have Game Of Thrones or Doctor Who stickers.  I am going to have to fix that.), and some of my favorite things.  I kind of wish I had a more of a space to work with, and a couple of other stickers, but I like what I have for now.  If I ever get tired of it, I can always take the stickers off.  :)  Even with me using these stickers, I didn't even put a dent into my collection. haha  Stickers aren't even the only thing I collect, and it isn't even my largest collection either considering it is my second longest running collection.

Today was an interesting day at work to say the least.  I had to clean the parking lot, and I kid you not, I think that a colony of ants built there ant hill around or under a bowl of KFC mashed potatoes.  The bowl was upside down on the ground, and there was a hole that was facing up.  It didn't look like a man made hole.  I looked like it was chewed.  When I brushed the bowl away, so many ants came out of the ground.  It was weird.  That was probably also the most interesting thing that happened.

Yesterday at work was a glorious day because the wicked and lazy witch of the east has finally gone away hopefully never to return again!!!!  No if only all of the really lazy people who do half ass jobs all the time would leave or get fired for something, I would be even more happy.

I am currently watching Patrick play Skyrim.  He finally gets to enjoy the game to it's fullest potential because he received his computer in the mail the same day I got my Chrome book.  It looks so good, that I am even tempted to play it.

I am currently transferring all of my video and blog ideas to google documents, and trying to get a list going so I can try and knock them out.  I have a lot of things I like to talk about, but when I go to actually start typing, I forget what I would like to actually discuss.  Hopefully I can get into the frame of mind where I won't need to write down every idea, and just be able to instantly start with no hiccups.

There is one thing I want to restart again, and that was my song of the day.  I had a lot of fun doing that, and I don't know why I ever stopped.

Today's song is "Zoot Suit Riot" by Cherry Poppin Daddies.  This song is the main reason why I love big band and ska.  The video has it moments of being a bit weird, but I love it.  I am also so jealous of all of the dancers in the video.  It looks so fun to do all of those tricks and flips, and I have always loved swing dancing.  So I will just leave this video here.

Until tomorrow!

BEDA 2013 #5:To VEDA or not to VEDA.

VEDA for those of you who don't know (which I have a feeling you do) is the vlogging equivalent of BEDA.  About two weeks before the month started, I was seriously going to do VEDA and not BEDA.  BEDA was not even in my head at that point.  I have done it before, and I know it can be done.  It has also been a very long time since I have done it, so I was sure I could think of enough things to talk about.  As the month started getting closer, I was growing more and more skeptical about doing it.  I started feeling very nervous about the thought of having to record a video every day, and then I remembered why I stopped doing VEDA in the first place.

I don't like the idea of making videos for the sake of making videos.  I like making videos for fun.  Making videos is my hobby to get away from the stress, and helps calm me down.  Now if I am constantly stressing from what to talk about, and starting to freak out from not having enough time to make a video for the day, then we have a big problem.  It starts to pull away from having fun to being a stress itself.  I remember having to do one take vlogs that were shitty, always apologizing for having to make shitty one take vlogs, and it just wasn't fun at the end of the month.  I also remember not making videos for a while after I would complete VEDA.

Also with my desktop computer being in the state that it is in, I would probably throw it out the window, and give no fucks!  I do have the google chrome book, but it doesn't have any editing software, and I would basically would be subject to using the youtube editor.  I am not a big fan of the youtube editor personally.  Also you would need the internet to use it.  If I were to have done VEDA, I doubt I would have been able to get my videos uploaded because the internet at the hotel Patrick and I stayed at this past week was horrible!!!  I would have failed after the first day.  haha

I personally love BEDA a lot more than VEDA.  I feel like there are a lot less steps to take with BEDA, and once you are done writing, you just pres publish.  Yes you have to go through, and polish what you write, but it takes a lot less time than what you have to do to edit a video.  If I had a better computer to edit on, I probably would have done it.  VEDA just isn't in the cards for me to do right now.  At least not until I get a better computer which could take months for me to accomplish.

Anyways.  I wanted to do something, and I BEDA also correlates with Camp NaNoWriMo.  I have been wanting to write, and this is a very good excuse to do so.  :)

This blog should have been written a couple of days ago, but I wanted to vlog about my Atlanta trip.  It may be a little out of place now, but I don't care. haha

I am going to go.  I have to take my brother to work, and then get ready for work myself.

BEDA 2013 #4: Fish Fingers and Custard please.

Patrick and I are back home, and it is quite sad because I was not ready for the three days to be over.

We went to the Aquarium today, and it was fun.  The Georgia Aquarium claims to be the biggest one in the world, but I felt like it didn't have enough content so to speak for that assumption.  Now that I have the cons out of the way, It was awesome!

Just like at the zoo, I believe I got a lot of great shots and videos.  I will say this, it was a great way for me to hone my manual focus skills.  It was really difficult to get the auto focus to do so on certain animals, so manual became my new best friend.

We went to all six of the exhibits, and the dolphin tales shows.  The exhibits were cool, and each had some of my favorite animals included.  I got to pet a shark, and a manta ray, and that was really cool.  I enjoyed the Dolphin Tales show, but it was very cheesy.  I could have done without the singing, and stupid story, but the rest of it was very cool.  Dolphins are probably my favorite animals in the world, so I would have been really upset if I missed that show.

I got to see a turtle, a shark, a jelly fish, a sea and river otter, penguins, sea dragons, sea horse, and little frogs.  I was a happy person.

We had dinner at the aquarium, and it was rather expensive!  What got me was the weigh the salad, and I loaded it with Greek olives, mushrooms, and craisins.  I also had a chicken salad sandwich, and a key lime tart.  I will say this the food was very delicious, but I am not sure it was all worth 25 dollars!  Damn you pay by weight!!!!!

All in all, I really enjoyed the aquarium, and I liked it a lot better than the zoo.  I have always been a fan of marine biology, and this just suited a lot more.  In the future though, if we go back, we are going to have a lot of other things planned because you can't spend the entire day at the aquarium.  There just isn't a full days worth of activities in the building.

We didn't leave until about 6.  We both didn't want to leave because we both work tomorrow, but we both kind of like the idea of having money in our pockets again.  Patrick got us out of the major part of Atlanta, and most of the busy traffic areas, and then I drove the rest of the way home.  I am exhausted, just like I was last night.  I took about an hour or so nap after we got back from the zoo, so if yesterday's blog seems that way, I apologize.

Well I better get going.  Patrick has to go to bed early so that he will be able to wake up at 5 in the morning to wake up for work.  I don't want to keep him up, now do I?  I also want to head home, and get my things unpacked.

Until tomorrow.

BEDA 2013 #3: "Wake up Cousin, We are going to the zoo!"

See what I did there.  I was so tempted to jump up and down on the bed while Patrick was asleep and yell that out just changing cousin with Patrick.  Just so you know, there are very minuscule moments in my life that I don't reference the things I love.  Hehe

Today was Zoo Atlanta day!  It was packed, but I kind of figured it would be seeing as how it is Spring Break for many people this week.  I liked it a lot.  There were a lot of cute animals, and Patrick and I got so many good pictures.  There were a lot of animals that were napping, but the weather was very good napping weather, so I do not blame them what-so-ever.  I am excited to go through and edit my photos.

I would say the highlight of the zoo was the Bird show.  One of the hosts just walked up the stairs, and sat beside me, and asked me if I wanted to be apart of the show!  Who would say no?  So the show started, and she was called down.  She called me down acting like I was a former college whose nickname was Bambi.  haha
The part of the show I was down for was a kind of snow owl (I can't quite remember the specific owl.), and that it was going to fly around, and then fly right above my head.  It was so cool!!!  I can't wait to see the footage of it, but here is one of the photos of the owl about me.
It is one of the coolest things I have gotten to be apart of.  When it flew over my head, I felt the wind from how fast it flew.  It was cute!  It was a very impressive bird!

There really isn't much you can talk about a zoo about.  There were a lot of cute and impressive animals, a lot of walking (Got over 10,000 steps again. Yes!), and a lot of over heard stupidity (and I am not talking about the kids that were around.).

After the zoo, we wanted to do something else, so we decided to got to Underground Atlanta in the Downtown area, and just walk around and get a bite to eat for dinner.  It was a cool looking mall/building.  It past time by.  We had food from a "Hawaiian" restaurant that basically sold Chinese food.  After the Vietnamese restaurant last night, all other foods almost fail in comparison.

Tomorrow is the aquarium, and then back home.  I am  not looking forward to going home, but I am excited because I have heard nothing but great things about this aquarium.

I am exhausted, and wanting to go to bed, so until tomorrow!

BEDA 2013 #2: First day In Atlanta

Day two of BEDA, and I have had a pretty fun day.

Patrick and I drove to Atlanta.  Well he drove most of the way, and we are just outside of Atlanta, but it is all the same difference.  We went to the Sugarloaf Mills Mall, and it is pretty awesome.  It has quite a few stores that I would LOVE if they were closer to where I lived.  Some of my favorite stores there include Sanrio, The Lego Store, Lydia's ArtBox, Panda Express, and one store in particular called Pica Pica! I love it the most because one, it sounds like Pikachu is talking, and two is one of the coolest anime/plushy/video game store I have seen. We have gotten a store like that where we live finally, but it still isn't as great as this one is.

This mall also had a book-a-million, and there was one thing I had on my mind to get while I was there, and that was the Legend Of Zelda Hyrule Historia. I have wanted this book the moment that it was released in Japan, and when they announced that it was going to be translated to English, I about flipped my lid. I am very paranoid when it comes to buying books online. I am afraid of it being mistreated or damaged while in shipping, so I like to buy locally when I can. I could not for the life of me find it anywhere at any book store in my area. I was about to give up, and buy online a little bit before Patrick and I even considered coming to Atlanta. The moment that we made plans to come, I decided to hold out from buying it until I looked here, and I was super ecstatic to find it here! It is so pretty, and totally worth the money. I have yet to read it, and I know it is worth the money just based on the size of the book, and how much content is actually in it. I mean it is the time line for the entire Hyrule history!!!!! I'm a nerd and proud!

We then went to Dave and Busters, and played a bunch of games. I have found two games that I absolutely love. One that is a reflex game where you hit the light buttons as they light up. I love games like that. It was a great way to be active and work on my hand eye coordination. The second game is also a reflex game, but is not active at all. It just involves pressing a button at the right time to stop a line to see how many tickets you can get. I think I played it about 12 times, and I won the bonus five times. The bonus was 250 and increased every time you missed the bonus, so I made ticket bank!!! I used my tickets to get two full music albums: Billy Talent's III, and Cherri Bomb's Stark ep.

Just at the mall alone, I walked over 10,000 steps! It normally takes me an entire day to do that. I was happy. I added about 6,000 after we left the mall. We are going to the zootomorrow, and the aquarium the next day. If I don't get about that amount of steps or more each of those days, I will be completely shocked. I will also be shocked if I don't lose weight this week on Friday.

The last thing we did was go to probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my entire life. It is a Vietnamese restaurant that once we read the reviews and looked at the menu we knew we had to go. We were not disappointed!!!! Everything was AMAZING!!!! I had the Chicken with eggplant in a black bean sauce, and a soft summer roll, and Thai tea with pearls to drink. Everything was so good and you could tell that all of the food was fresh! When I was full, and had left overs, I was upset that it went to waste. I definitely have a place to come eat every time I come to Atlanta now. If you are ever in the area, GO!!! It is worth it, the price is not bad at all, and the food is so good. I have never liked a restaurant before I even got the food. That is how good it was, and it is a very pretty place too. It would be a good place to have a wedding reception.

We went to the asian grocery that was right next door, and got a bunch of Ramune, tiny juice bottles, and the coolest Red Bull bottle I have ever seen. Here is a picture of it.
How cool is that?!? I am not a fan of Red Bull, but I thought this bottle was so cool that I had to buy myself one. We also bought a big box of dates. It's a good snack, it's healthy, and they last us a couple of days! :)

I am excited to see the zoo tomorrow. I have only been to one zoo, but I don't think it was that great of a zoo because the only thing I can remember from it is seeing flamingos, and going into a reptile house. I am excited to see the cute baby panda!

I am going to go now because I want to get sleep, so that I can wake up, work out, eat breakfast, and go see cute animals.

DFTBA

Much love! :)
