Reviews: Twilight And PopSiren
It's been a long while since I last posted a blog, and I think I've gone on long enough not posting.
So recently I've been reading Twilight. Now before you go all, "Oh My Gosh, I can't believe you are going to be one of those mindless drones that think that Edward is like the best thing since sliced bread." For one I've been wanting to read the book since about two or so years, but I could never check out the books because they were never checked in or they were being held when I went in(i only go to the library once a month.) Two: Don't think I'm just now a fan of Vampire's because Edward is. I've been a Vampire Freak for many many years now...I can blame my dad for that. Dracula was one of his favorite movies, and it became one of my favorite one's too.
Anyway I'm getting away with my little rant.
I read Twilight and just finished New Moon this morning. I think the books are wonderful. It's been a while since I've found a book that I can actually finish and not be bored with it from start to finished. I liked Twilight so much that I read it twice in one week. That says a lot coming from my mouth. I do recommend this book for anyone who's a fan of Vampires(Though if you are one of those crazed Vamp enthusiasts, then you will not like the fact that a lot of the vampire myths that have been shown in many movies and comic books, are just that myths.), Romance, A little bit of violence, drama, and a little bit of mystery. This book will keep you wanting to read just to find out what happens next. It is a true page turner and you will not want to put it down. Stephenie Meyer did an excellent job with Twilight and New Moon, and I'm excited to read the final two books in the series as well as her book "The Host"
Now I also stumbled across a little web show today called Pop Siren. I like it very much. Sarah lane, who used to be on various shows on Tech TV host it and talks about pop culture with a techy twist. If you want to hear about news not shown on tv, or music you probably will never hear about on MTV, then it's the perfect web show for you. A new episode premieres every Thursday at 3 pm est. and noon pst with daily pop siren bites through out the week. I recommend it for any tech/internet savvy female that want more insight on the internet world. Visit PopSiren.com to watch past episodes and look out for new episodes.
I know this was more of a review blog than a about my life blog. I might end up making a review blog in the future, but for now, this will do.
Other than that, there really isn't nothing new in my life, and I don't feel like dwelling in on what is happening at the moment, so I am leveing you now with some words of wisdom...

I'm a do the things that I want to do!
So I'm actually supposed to be banned from the computer...But my brother forgot to log out of his name. So I guess I get a chance to do what I need to.
Anyways. I went to the Easley/Wren game last night. Easley lost badly, but I had a blast!!! I love having so many friends that love to just let loose and have fun. It's rare to find people like that and I'm fortunate enough to have found such awesome friends. I was hoping to see two friend in particular, Katelyn and Savannah. I worked with them up at Awanita, and they go to Wren. I wasn't sure if they even went to the game or if they are Volunteering up at the camp.
Steve and Shannon are leaving for Illinois Monday and I'm sad about it because I won't get to say good-bye, but I always will be intouch with them.
Tuesday I'm going to the 12th annual 93.3 Birthday Bash. Now I'd be really excited about it if Avenged Sevenfold were gonna be there, but they cancelled all their Fall Shows because of the lead singers voice. It makes me sad because that was the main reason why Lauren, Ben and myself were going. Well we are still going because Luaren couldn't find anyone to buy our tickets. I still plan on having fun.
Well I'm going to go. I have pictures and videos to post.
peace out homies!!!

I guess things can be too good to be true
So Shannon sent me a message today saying that her and Steve are going to be selling the car for 1200 which I don't have. I have yet to get a job and I don't have my license, so it would pretty much be wrong for me to say that I'm interested. Oh Well When the time comes for me to get a car I will know for sure, and hopefully I'll have a job and my license.
I saw Elizabeth(Another really cool person I worked with this summer) at church Yesterday. I was ecstatic. I missed her a lot. I really need to visit her and others up at North Greenville. I have a lot of friends that go to that school. I wanted to go there, but I just want to go to Film school. oh well.
That's pretty much it for now.

I...
Still hate the fact that Steve and Shannon are moving away. I mean they were cool people and really nice and Godly people. They have taught me a lot this summer and I'm not the only one. But I guess I can't be selfish because Steve felt like Illinois was where God was sending him, and you just can't fight feelings from God now can you?
I'm excited though. Tonight The Easley Marching Band are having a preview show, and I'm excited to see the show. Unlike last year I'm not as involved as I was. Which I think I really need. For me to be able to move on I need to cut loose some strings that were holding me back.
Now I'm not saying that I'm being held back from my friends, HECK NO!!! They if anything are helping me go forward. It's just being at every practice just held me back from forwarding my future.
I'm gonna go get ready now before I start to dig a deeper hole...
