So it's the last day of BEDA

...and I must say I'm kind of sad. It has been a very insightful month, and I have learned a lot just by typing in these blogs.

I have learned that I'm not very good at paying attention to writing these blogs. I'll type a little, then open up a tab and check facebook, or my email, then continue typing.

I learned that I actually have a lot to say. I thought that this blogging everyday thing was going to be hard because I sit at home all day pretty much. What interesting information could come from me. I guess in those times I spend doing nothing, my mind manifests all these thoughts.

BEDA was a good thing because it helped me be more confident in my typing skills, and in my ability to get my thoughts out there. Not only that I found a few interesting blogs to read. I love writing blogs, but I love reading other people's blogs better. I found a few great ones like Delightfully Mediocre, and of course Maureen Johnson's blog was pretty insightful. You never know how something like this impacts people.

I'm glad I participated in this even though the past few days I haven't been able to blog. It was fulfilling. I never thought I'd be able to post this many consecutive blogs in a row.

Yesterday's lack of blog was because my brother kind of got ticked at me for proving I think 6 times, that he complains to much, and doesn't know when to stop complaining. I found it quite funny, but apparently he didn't. He loggged out, and he has the profile password protected. I don't know the password, so I guess that didn't help anything. lol

So I'm not in Clemson. I'm not hanging out with Jennifer, which is a bummer. She got sick the past few days as well, and on top of that she has exams to study for. I wouldn't have wanted to keep her from studying, so it's for the best.

We are recording the podcast tonight. So that means I need to go research like mad!!!

But before I go, my friend Will found this story, and I read it, and found it freaking funny. I also think it's a great way to end out BEDA for me anyway.

Don't Mess With The Marching Band Girl

QUARTZ HILL, Calif. - Don't mess with a marching band girl, especially one armed with a baton.

A 17-year-old high school marching band student beat up two assailants who tried to mug her as she walked to school in this high desert community about 40 miles north of Los Angeles, sheriff's officials said Tuesday.

The girl punched one of the men in the nose, kicked the other in the groin and beat both with her large baton before she ran away on Friday morning, officials said.

"The moral to this story is don't mess with the marching band girls, or you just might get what you deserve," said Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Michael Rust.

He said two men approached the girl from behind, grabbed her coat and demanded money. Deputies searched near Quartz Hill High School for the muggers, looking for a man who was holding his bloodied nose and the other limping.

No arrests have been made, but Rust said it appears the girl made her point to her assailants.

"Final score: Marching band 2, thugs 0," Rust quipped.

Haha!!! Marching band girls kick butt. I mean come on now. People think you can't get hurt by flags, and wooden rifle, but they've never been hit by one. Talking from experience they hurt when they hit you.

So until next time

Much love, DFTBA, and Best Wishes!

I missed posting yesterday!!! Dang it! lol.

I was extremely sick yesterday, and I'm better today. That and my brother was rearranging his room, s he restricted the computer from me. :(

Nothing new has happened. I'm excited for the week to come.

New Whitest Kids U' Know tonight.

Hopefully I'll be able to go hang out with Jennifer Wednesday or Thursday. Which ever is best for her schedule. She has exams this week so hopefully, she won't be to bogged down, but if she is, I don't want to be a nuisance. Saturday, my mom's boyfriend's sister, and family are going to be having a birthday/mothers day bash. There are four people in that family that having birthdays in the next coming day's so I'm looking forward to that. I mean they are like family to me.

Sunday is the Youth choir end of the year party. The youth choir has done a really great job this year, and I think they deserve some time to relax and have fun.

With all that happening, I don't even know if I'll be able to record the podcast this week. I wish I could say I could schedule around for the podcast, but it's time I finally had me time, and let my life revolve around other things. Don't get me wrong, I love the podcast, and the guys are awesome, it's just I've scheduled around around it for a while now, and it's one more month before I go to Awanita, and that will pretty much be my entire summer. I need to hang out with my friends while I can.

Well, I have to go. The Zyntec(sp?) is starting to make me drowsy!!!

Until next time

Much love

Naps are good...

...especially right after a trip home from Awanita.

I had a fun this time...Well I always have fun, but this time I actually made an effort to talk with my friends. It was just five of us; Cassen, Sydney, Grayson, and new girl Katie, and myself. There were also two people came came for a little bit and their names were Noah, and Katrina I think. Anyway I got to have a conversation with Noah. He is pretty cool. He's a Business major at North Greenville. I told him that I wanted to get into photography as a back up, and go into film and hopefully become a music video director. HE asked me the one of the questions I could probably never answer. He asked what's your favorite music video. That's just as hard as me saying what my favorite song it. It really changes day to day. It's never the same. Anyway he said that one of his was "In The End" by Linkin Park...I could tell by his answer that we are going to get along just fine!!!

Anyway Saturday I had kitchen duty til after lunch, and then myself and Grayson got put on Zip line duty, so needless to say that I didn't get to go to Mr. Don's Funeral, but it was for the best. Somebody had to stay to keep the camp running.

I loved being at the zip line because I was outside enjoying the nice day, and it was just so peaceful. Even having to put all of the pulleys on the wire. I didn't care. That's what the good outdoors does to you!!!

Anyway that night. We had Bible study. I really wasn't "There". I could hear what Benny was saying, but it just went out the other ear. Hey at least I was awake. Grayson slept through it, and started snoring. lol. I wanted to throw a peppermint at him, but I decided to be nice.

After that, I got to talk with Cassen and Sydney, and we just had a ball. Cassen had gotten up to go get some kool-aid, and when he came back sydney was reaching for something, and Cassen said, "Don't put your thumb out under me before I sit down. That junk hurts. That's not for entering." Sydney and I just started busting out laughing. I had rice crispies in my mouth so I had to make sure I didn't breathe to hard or else they would fly everywhere that's how hard I was laughing. He also added to that, "I should get that tattooed on my back(Refering to "That's not for entering.)" And he also said "I was thinking about dying this green(Motioning towards pubic area), and get a tattoo that says don't walk on the grass." That comment ruined it a bit, but I was still in stitches. Cassen is just hilarious.

Anyway this morning, we had breakfast, and finished with kitchen work, and then headed home. :( I love being home, but I adore being with friends even more.

Once I got home I took a nap. Then woke up, and now I'm writing this. I have Church tonight. I need to talk to Jennifer tonight as well.

Anyway to leave you with something, here's a video I saw that I liked a lot. It's boring for the first forty seconds, but once it gets started it's quite great.

Until tomorrow...If I can wake up tomorrow.

Best Wishes

whoop whoop!!!

I finally finished my review of Ben Lee's "The Rebirth Of Venus"!!!

Now don't make fun because it's my very first album review. I think I did a pretty good job. (Every time I press the shift key, it shows a little box that says "Shift. lol. just thought I'd throw that out there.)

In all honesty, I've only heard a few of Ben Lee's songs, so I didn't really know what to expect listening to his new album "The Rebirth Of Venus." The album art is very colorful, and it catches the eye, but they always say never judge a book by it's cover. On the inside cover, he talks about Venus, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, and how we, men and women, need to cultivate the many qualities this Goddess represents and embodies.

Once the album starts, you're just introduced to pleasant ear candy. I pretty much got entrapped into the entire album. I've only listened to a few albums all the way through, and this one is added to that list. Not because I had to, but because it is amazing. I was captivated by all the songs and how each one is unique in it's own way. I loved the use of pots and pans in "What's So Bad(About Feeling Good)", and the backing vocals in "Blue Denim" sounding like Kazoos' at one point. It wasn't just the music, but the lyrics were so well written. They spoke a lot of truth and in some way, I could relate to each song. The lyrics are just really motivating and makes me want to get out there and make a difference in the world. "I Love Pop Music" is one of the those songs that just need to be played on mainstream radio because of it's unique take on all of the trails and tribulations going on in the world today. It would definitely get people's attention.

All in all, this album is a refreshing take on the male's perspective of femininity. It exceeded my expectations, and I recommend it to anyone. If you're a Ben Lee fan, if you need a happy pick-me-up, if you need motivation, or if you are someone who wants a taste of feminine ideals; I have a feeling you'll love this album as much as I did.

So that's that.

Oh I'm going to Awanita this weekend, so I will unfortunately have to miss posted tomorrow. Not because there won't be any internet up there, it just would take forever to even post it. They have dial up and it is as slow as molasses on weed...I don't know that just seemed like a good depiction of how show it really is.

But hey I've gone this far blogging in April. I will also be home Sunday, so really I'll probably just miss one day. I thought that I would miss about five or six blogs due to my bro being home, but that wasn't the case at all. I'm proud of being able to stick with it.

One more week of BEDA! That kind of makes me sad, but also happy because I was totally running out of things to blog about. I think this experiment kind of helped my blogging ability. I am hoping to write better blogs in the future...just not every day. haha

Until Sunday.

So I just got done watching Hank Greens new song, and video for...of course "DFTBA" It was amazing. Have you seen this video? Well I'm posting it right here!!!

Seriously!!! It's freakin Awesome!!! Makes me even prouder to be a Nerdfighter!!! I never knew Hank could rap! lol.

My brother complains to much. He asked me why don't I put on my clothes in the bathroom right after I take a shower. Umm I don't find it comfortable. He just doesn't understand other people's personal preference. He's just a weird guy!

Oh!!! I got the new Ben Lee cd "The Rebirth Of Venus" in the mail yesterday. I have to review it before Tuesday. The reason being is that it comes out on Tuesday. I have listened to it, and it is fantastic...Now I just have to wirte the review. Here's to good luck for my first ever album review. Hopefully I can do a good job, and give Ben Lee some Justice!!!

Well I have to go do so reseacrh for the podcast, because I haven't done a single bit and I'm probably leaving in about thirty minutes to an hour.

So until next time.

Yo and Hello

haha I totally ripped off Kim from Radio Free Roscoe.

So today I went with my mom to the optometrist. One of the ladies said that I look sort of like her niece. As the appointment went on she said I was more and more like her niece. I found it weird. We got herself a pair of glasses, and she wanted me to help her pick it out.

My brother and I are having a yelling conversation about how I have trouble spelling words, and that he thinks he's a god at spelling words. So I quizzed him on a word about how to spell optometrist, and he was like Oh I can spell words I've seen before. I never have to use the word optometrist, so I don't know how to spell it. Then we went on saying how you don't use the word optometrist in everyday speech, and we said it enough to be able to have a week or two conversation using the word.

haha We argue about some of the weirdest things.

oh and apparently my oldest aunt got the nick-name betch. I don't know I'm just repeating what my mom said.

I just found out today that the co-founder of Camp Awanita Mr. Don passed away yesterday, so I will be keeping the Baltz family in my prayers. I hope I get to go to the funeral Saturday.

Well until tomorrow.

Quick... because I have till my brother makes his bed. lol.

I've been having the same weird dream for the past few days. I'm in this huge room. I mean like it's like a mile long. In the middle of the room, there's a couch. I'm sitting there with a guy (Whom I can't see his face.) we are just chilling out and when I got to give him a hug, two people appear out of nowhere, and take him away. No matter how fast I run, I can never catch up. After a bit it gets to hard to breathe and I fall to my knees, and that's when I wake up.

I find it weird, and I thought I might share it with you all.

I'm currently drinking hot chocolate, and watching Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

I'm gonna go.

Peace out homies!!!

This really can't be long.

My bro is in the shower and I have to make this quick!!!

Today was such a gorgeous day, so I decided to go outside. I wrote a bit for a story I'm working on. I took pictures of flowers that are blooming. Normally the flowers that bloom in the back and front yard don't bloom till June. So I'm glad they bloomed early for me. I love them. The ones in the front yard are red, and the ones in the back yard are purple. I also saw two caterpillars while going to check the mail. It reminded me of when and I used to play with them all the time. Aww the good ole days.

I love going outside.

I have to go before my bro gets out of the shower.

Until next time

I am trying real hard... keep my eyes open. I almost drifted to sleep at lunch!!!

So, we didn't end up going to Mellow Mushroom at all. :( Oh well as long as they go before I leave for Awanita!!!

It was all good though. We got Papa John's pizza, and pretty much hung out for a while before we recorded the podcast. It was fun. Yesterday was all in all one of the best days ever!!!

It was also a very pretty day outside also!!!

I am though confused about something. I'd rather not say what it is, but I am confused.

Church service was really good.

My Sunday school class found out that the current teachers, Tony and Lisa, will not be teaching our class after June 1. That made me sad. Tony is a pretty awesome teacher, and Lisa is amazingly awesome. I don't want them to leave. They will be replace by another couple. I don't know about this, but if it is the will of the Lord I can't really complain about it.

I'm listening to "Accio Deathly Hallows" by Hank Green

I love that song!!!

I'm now going to go take a nap!!!!

Until next time.

Random thoughts

- Reel Big Fish is one of the best ska bands ever!!!
- Typing with two fingers is way easier and faster for me then using all my fingers...though I sometimes miss some of the keys
- I am writing this at someone else's house
- I just finished typing out cleaning documents for Awanita
- I don't even think I'll finish typing this onto my blog before I have to go get ready for the podcast.
- I'm writing this at 2 o' clock. So if it says a different time, it's because I finally got on the internet.
- When I write with a felt tip pen, I feel like I'm apart of the show Ghostwriter. Man, that was an awesome show.
- I wish I could own a panda
- To play piano like Ben Folds would be freaking amazing!!!
- I really don't want to leave Awanita, but since this is posted that means I'm already home. :(
-One month and twelve days until summer.

Just so you know those were all written earlier today.

I just got back from Awanita, and I am now about to go take a shower and get ready to record the podcast.

Afterward...Mellow Mushroom!!!! I love it there.

I've had a great day so far...Let's hope that doesn't get ruined. lol.

until next time

I was so desperate to do something today cause I knew I would get bored, and guess what? I'm still bored, but Angie is going to come pick me up, and I'm going to camp Awanita for the night!!! Yippy Skippy.

It's not like I won't be there for 10 weeks this summer, right?

She needs help with inventory, painting, and all that good stuff to get ready for the summer. I might as well. I have nothing else planned for tonight or the greater part of tomorrow. The only other thing I have tomorrow is the Podcast, and that won't be till around eight or nine at night. Maybe even later.

I need to cut my nails. They are getting a bit long.

I also have to do research before Angie comes get me, so I won't have to worry about it at all tomorrow.

I really should pack.

I'm sorry about this one being a really random thought blog.

I've been really scatter brained lately. I'm also going back and forth from different pages. I can never really just focus on typing and finishing a blog post without being distracted.

I better go.

But I do have a video for everyone.

This song has been stuck in my mind...well the beat of it anyway. It took me about 3 days before I knew what it was. That bothered me, and when I figured it out I was super duper happy.

It's a video from Sunshine Taylor. The song is from a group called Little Birdy and the song is "Bodies". I really like the song, and I can't find it anywhere!!!! If you know where I can find it, please tell me.

Hope you enjoy.

Until next time

Best Wishes

P.S. Diablo Cody is one of the best writers ever!!! Case and point...United States Of Tara, and of course Juno!!!

The first part of this blog... a question.

Ok so today my mom and I went to Jack and the Box. While waiting for the food at the drive-thru, I took the straw paper and tied it in a knot, and broke it. Now here's where the question comes into play. I was told this years ago, and I can't quite remember what the little trick thing was. Now the trick was you tie a knot into the straw paper, and rip it apart. Now I can't remember if you rip it apart and the knot stays together something happenes, or if you rip it apart and the knot doesn't stay together something good happens. I am just curious because for the first time ever in my exisitance I have ripped the paper apart, and the knot came unraveled!!! I just want to know if that's a good thing or bad thing.

I am so bad at all this superstitious stuff. I've never been a big believer in superstition. Now I'm not saying I don't like doing some of the things though. For instance, when I'm in the car with my friend Kathryn when we see a car with one headlight out we always say popeye, and kiss our hands and hit the roof of the car. That and I also like to say 11:11 make a wish. I believe I've done that in a past blog recently. lol.

Anyway. I need to get ready for my radio show which is in 20 minutes, and I also have to do more research for the podcast, which I'm assuming we are recording tonight...I haven't gotten the word yet.

I'm always the last to know everything...Well not everything. I'm just glad I have a friend that trusts me and knows he can confide in me that which he doesn't want anyone to know yet.

Well until next time

Best Wishes!!!

I really can't write a long blog... this is going to be a drive by posting.

Pretty much I'd like to talk about a movie I watched last night on IFC.

It's called Trainspotting. It has a very young Ewan McGregor ( as seen in Moulin Rouge, The Star Wars Prequel. and many more movies that were great.), and Jonny Lee Miller (Also played in Hackers, one of my favorite movies.)

I found it to be a very good movie, and the story line was fantastic. The movie came out in 1996, so it's twelve years old, but it's so much better than most of the movies that are coming out now. It was on IFC so it is sort of independent like.

I love IFC. It's sucha great channel. I mean it brought me to liking The IT Crowd, and it brought me The Whitest Kids U Know uncensored. (I actually started watching TWKUK on Fuse, but it was censored, and no fun. lol.) Not only that, it also shows some of the best movies out there, and it also has a show that features some of the best indie music out there. How could I not love IFC.

Anyway. I better go. I have to dry my hair, and get ready for church tonight.

Best Wishes

It's Tuesday...

...and some how I am on the computer. Yeah I have no idea why? It just so happens that I think God wants me to be able to complete the BEDA challenge I set for myself. lol. My brother is on his way to the Theater (where he works) to exchange quarters for dollars, so he can go by more RAM for his computer. He got the game "The Last Remnant" for windows. Which means I'm going to have to get used to...again...Windows Vista. I had just gotten used to XP, and now I have to change my mind set. Oh how I dislike changing computer settings. lol

Anyway. Yesterday, my friend Nicole (A.K.A Symon) and I went around various locations in Easley and filmed ourselves randomly dancing. Boredom makes you do really weird stuff. The various locations include; The High School, one of the elementary schools, three locations at the park, three spots in Wal-Mart, two spots at Downtown Easley, in front of a pasture with cows, and at a friends house. It was quite fun, and I enjoyed myself completely. I can't wait to start editing it, and letting people see how bored we really get. I'd edit it now, but I have no idea how long I have on the computer. I will start editing on Friday, and hopefully be done by then.

Tonight, I will be watching The Whitest Kids U Know. I will also be watching the IFC Music Blast, so I can find bands that i could possibly ask to feature on my radio show. I need to find more bands.

Oh and a few days ago, I got my first follower (Or at least it's the first one to show up on my dashboard.) I just want to thank all of you that read my blog. I never thought that anyone would be interested in reading it at all. Everytime I get a comment, it just makes my day! So thanks again!!! :)

Well I'm going to go.

Until next time (hopefully tomorrow lol)

It's a gloomy day...

...outside. I was hoping it would be a nice day outside like has been the past few days. I can't stand this Bi-Polar weather.

I am currently watching John Green talk about the stories and stuff in This is not Tom. I wanted to get involved in the riddles for this is not tom, but I suck at riddles. Puzzles I am really good at, but riddles confuse the crap out of me. I'm just glad they posted the chapters in a website called so that way I can just read the story, and not have to slam my head against the desk figuring these riddles out.

I did get to g to dinner with my friend Jennifer last night, and I think it was needed. We've been wanting to hang out, but never got a chance to so it was very delightful to hang out with her. I think we both learned a lot about each other that we couldn't really talk about around other people. That's why I like hanging out with people one on one.

So I am to look up a video (on direct orders from Jennifer) on youtube called Mario Cart Love Song. I am going to post the video because I want those of you who haven't seen it to see it so that I won't be the only one who hasn't heard of it.

(Just got done listening to it.) Aww that is precious!!!

Oh well, that's really all.

I am hoping I get to post tomorrow. If there isn't a post here you can always check on my profile page on Maureen Johnson's ning.

Until next time

Easter Sunday!!!

Yay!!! Today is the day that Jesus rose from his grave two thousand years ago.

It's a great day to be alive. It's nice outside I'm wearing my hippie skirt, and converse...I'll show you a picture of my outfit.

I never really wear skirts, but I love this skirt!!! I wanted to wear it for the longest time, I just never had a time to wear it. Easter Sunday I think was the best day for it. I liked my outfit. I care what anyone says I like it a lot.

Anyway. Sunday school caught me by surprise. Our lesson was the last on in the series friends, and this one hit really close to home. It was about Identity, and how people sometimes can influence, whether it be a good or bad influence, what we think of ourselves. Now, I have had a tough time with identity, and lately it's been rough because I just don't know anymore who I really am. Hearing the two kids stories about it really made me relate to them because for years I dictated who I was with who I hung out with and who I was friends with. One of the stories was so close to mine that it brought me to the point of crying. I don't like to cry because it shows weakness, and I tried to force it back. I have had problems with people making fun of me, and telling me I'm not cool because I won't do what everyone else does. I just got so sick of it. I didn't have friends for most of Middle school, and when I did have friends I built walls and not bridges.

The guy that was summarizing the stories said that in order for you to be able to find your true Identity is that you have to be honest with yourself. Don't be negative about yourself, but be sure to find what your faults are and continually work at improving yourself. He said other things, but I can't quite remember what he said.

Anyway, I then played in the orchestra, then listened to the message Pastor Jim had for us. I thne came home, and now I am bored sitting here writing this blog.

Jennifer, I'd have to say probably the person I'm closest to at church, said that we might go to dinner sometime tonight. So I'll be looking forward to that. I never get to hang out with her as much as I want to, but we can never find a time that is perfect for the both of us. She's an RA at Clemson, and when she's on duty I have nothing planned, and when she isn't on duty is when I have planned. I just want to hang out with her before she's out of school, and on her way to the mission trip she's going on over the summer, and before I have to go to Awanita. So it will be hard to plan, but it will happen.

Well I'm going to go take a nap.

Best Wishes

Interesting day.

So I only have one hour to complete this blog before the end of the day!!! I got to make this quick!!!

Tenebrae went really well last night. I found it pretty ironic though that there was a huge thunderstorm going on during the performance. the power went out during one of the songs. It would have been really cool, if communion wasn't going on and people didn't need to walk around. Anyway. It was a huge storm. There were a few uprooted trees here and there. (11:11 make a wish)It's a good thing that it came and passed while everyone was inside. I got to talk to him, but it seemed like he wanted to leave pretty fast, so I'm going to assume that he was trying to avoid me.

Anyway. I promised myself that I wouldn't talk about guy stuff at all, but I had to throw that little factoid out there.

I got to hang out with my friend Bippy!!!
Yay bippy!

I haven't seen her in like forever almost. (almost 6 months.) We hung out for a bit. Walked through the woods. Watched Trod Monsoon (I think that's the name.) Went to Taco bell where I ate a bean burrito that did not sit well with my stomach. Went to Miracle Hill Thrift store. I like it, it's like goodwill without sales tax!!! I love any store that doesn't have tax. I'm so going there to get myself a tweed skirt!!! I want one so much. Then we went on a bike ride, where we met up with three of Bippy's friends and two girl that neither one of us knew. then rode the bikes back to her house. Watched an episode of The IT Crowd. Then her mom came home. after a bit, we went to Arby's, and then I came home. We really didn't have anything planned, but it was better than being at home by ourselves. It was just good to hang out with a friend. I haven't had that in a while.

All in all a good day. The only bad thing was the bike ride was hell to my pelvis. Sorry to be so blunt about it. Though it was a very fun scenic route. I guess it was the fact that I haven't ridden a bike in years. I'd say almost 10 years. lol

I hope to have a blog tomorrow. It just depends on if my brother works tomorrow. Tomorrow might be my last day, and then I think my streak will be over. :(

I finished it with 22 minutes to spare. YEAH!!!

Good night all

...Tonight is Tenebrae. I'm excited to perform for His glory. I'm really excited for people see our hard work pay off, and I'm excited to see if it impacts people's lives.

I really have nothing to talk about. Yesterday we recorded the podcast, and according to Brandon it was our best show to date. I will agree a little. Anyway, I still think I am stupid sounding. Oh well what can you do?

anyway since I have nothing to talk about at all, I just thought I'd post a thing one of the ladies in the orchestra sent to me.

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Talk to God about what is going on in your life. Buy a lock if you have to.

3. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, 'My purpose is to__________ today. I am thankful for______________'

4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

5. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli , almonds & walnuts.

6. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

I read this, and it made me feel ten times better. Especially after what happened this week. I'm going to apply it my everyday life.

Well I'm going to go, because I need to get ready, and if I procrastinate any longer, I might end up forgetting, and being left with only 30 minutes to get ready lol.

When Judgement Comes...

So I didn't get to blog here yesterday, but I still got to blog on my profile on Maureen Johnson's ning. I still have blogged everyday this month so far. I am hoping to keep it up!!
So yesterday. I had orchestra practice because This Friday we are going to be having a Tenebrae service. For those that don't know Tenebrae means the cross...from what I heard. So if you've been reading my blog you know that I was stressing about yesterday. I was afraid that my friend(Whom I told I kind of liked on Monday) would completely not talk to me because of what I said to him. I was also afraid of it being an awkward situation. Well Good news, It wasn't awkward at all. We talked like we normally would, and it seemed like it never happened. I'm super happy about that because he is a really good friend of mine, and I like talking to him about random things. So things are good, and I am not disappointed anymore. I would like to take it back yes, but it didn't seem to cause much damage. Though he is very good at hiding things, so who knows really.

Anyway. The reason for the name of this blog entry is because I recently joined a street team called System of Freaks. It's for the band Mary Magdalan. Her music is awesome. I like it a lot, and makes me want to do what makes me happy with myself. I am proud to be a member of the street team, and I'm ready to spread the word of her music, and to make a difference for music I like. Though it's metal, so most of my friends would not listen to it, but I will find someone that will.

I have to get ready for my radio show, which is in an hour. I also have to research for the podcast, which we normally record on a Saturday, but we are having to record on a Thursday. I am hoping that they'll let me record on the Thursday of the weekend I'm going to Awanita. Or else I'll be absent for another show. lol.

Well I'm going to go.

Best Wishes

Difference of opinion.

I like what Delightfully mediocre said in a comment to my last blog. She said that she considers disappointment and rejection a difference of Opinion. I find that to be more opptimistic and doesn't hurt as much to think of it like that. SO I'd like to thank you first before I start telling you what happened. By The way on her she has a picture of Amelie, which so happens to be my favorite Foreign movie. So Delightfully Mediocre...You are awesome in my book!!!

Anyway. Like I said in my blog post yesterday, I said I was going to tell this guy that I like him (I'd like to keep his name a secret.) Anyway I wanted to tell him in person so badly, but I'm the biggest wuss ever. I decided to ask him if he'd be online in the allotted time slot (Because my brother wasn't home in between that time.) So he got on about 4:50ish. So we talked about random stuff for an hour, and when it was time for me to go, I made the stupid mistake of saying. oh I forgot to tell you what i wanted to tell you. and he asked if I had time. I said I guess. I wanted to tell you this yesterday, but I think I kind of like you.

All he said was ok. I then said I better go cya.

I feel like such an idiot. I now have to see him at orchestra practice tomorrow. It's going to be so awkward, and I'm going to be so embarrassed. That's why after I got offline, I watched as much IT Crowd as I could, so I could take my mind off of the situation that wouldn't have happened if I didn't all of a sudden get brave.

I guess God didn't want us together like that. Maybe we were just meant as friends. I just hope we can stay friends and no be so awkward around each other.

Anyway. My brother doesn't have to work tomorrow, so I more than likely will not be able to blog tomorrow. *tear* So much for wanting to complete BEDA. I knew it was going to be an almost impossible feat for me to complete. At least I tried!!! I can at least keep my promise that I made about blogging ever day that I am on the computer.

Other than that I have just been watching The IT Crowd, and I started to watch Bleach (The Japanese version. I watched one episode of the English version, and hated the voice overs.)

Well I have to wrap this up. I'm about to go hang out with my friend Nicole. I need it!!!

Monday, April 6, 2009

...Is Monday. Nothing interesting ever happens on a Monday. At least not till this very day.

Well it depends on if I don't get caught.

My brother told me that I was to leave the computer alone. Well considering I am making this blog post, I am disobeying his wishes. I already had a mind set that I needed to be least on Facebook.

See I was going to tell the guy I like that I liked him yesterday, but I flaked out. So I decided in my mind that I'd at least tell him in a chat. I know that is very cowardly of myself, but I'm too afraid to get rejected face to face. I guess it's just the security of never having to show defeat or emotion in front of the other party.

That has always bothered me though. I have always wondered why I let emotions get the better of me. I should be able to say, "Okay" and get over it, but emotions always mess it up. I have always considered emotions to be signs of weakness. I used to be so good at hiding when things bothered me, and no one would ever think twice. I've been rejected so much in the past, that I had just gotten used to it. But it wasn't until a few years ago that I had gotten so over whelmed, that I just started crying one morning at school, and I couldn't stop at all that day. I guess it was 17 years of bottled up emotion making it's way out of me. Ever since then It's been really hard for me to keep any emotion from showing.

I'm still trying to get used to it, but how do you get used to disappointment?

Has anyone felt like that? Emotions are such fickled fiends!!!

Well wish me luck telling this guy I like him.

I need all the luck I can get.

Everyone have a great day!!!

Best Wishes

PS Someone left me a comment somewhere on my blog. Something about the person having a long distant relationship, and I approved it, but I can't find the post it was least I think I approved it.

Spring Is In The Air

..and I'm choking to death on it. Just kidding. lol. Just thought I'd use some of a lyric from one of my favorite bands Love You To Death (The actual lyric goes "Love is in the air and I'm choking to death on it)

Anyway it's day five of the BEDA. So far I'm in the clear of at least completing a week without missing a day. lol. *Thank goodness for Pickens County being on Spring break!*
After next Sunday, I'm not sure how things will go down.

I always love going to Church. Sunday's are one of my favorite days of the week. It's not only because I get to go to church, but I also get to dive into the word, and I get to see some of my closest friends. Great day so far.

It's such a beautiful day outside. I was happy that it was warm enough to go without a jacket.

So I'm in sort of a pickle so to speak. I like this guy, and I really want to tell him I like him...but I don't want to because it's so close to me going to Awanita. I don't want to doom any relationship, whether it be just friends or we actually start dating. I don't know. I've never been good with all this relationship stuff.

My friend Briana (Or Bippy) asked me if I wanted to hang out sometime this week. She's in Virgina right now for a Band trip. I haven't seen her in months. I miss that girl. We get confused for relatives so much. it's funny. She's awesome, and she's quite a fantastic guard girl!!! With her colorguard skills, she decreases world suck by a bunch!!!

I really have nothing to write about. I just wanted to keep up with the BEDA!!!

A Borrowed Post

I am calling this blog a borrowed post for this reason. I did this thing on facebook a few months ago where you list twenty Five random things about yourself. The only thing was, the facts were not really random, and anyone who knew me knew all those facts. That and it was also really rushed, and I didn't think it out. I decided for BEDA that I would completely redo the entire list, and make it to where if my best friend read it, they(I have two best friends Kathryn, and Clint) would have no clue about any of it. So here it is version 2.0 new and improved 25 random facts about myself.

1.) Here's The extent of my music fandom...If a song starts playing, more than likely I can name the band and the song title within the first measure of the music.

2.) Since I was little, I liked to learn the dance moves of music videos. I still do actually. I know the entire dance to The Pussycat Doll's "When I Grow Up." and half of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. lol

3.) If I could be in any genre specific band, I'd so be in a Ska band!!!

4.) I do not go anywhere with out my zune, and almost anywhere without my camera.

5.) I collect quotes. All kinds. If you know of any good ones, send them my way.

6.) I only talk on the phone when I absolutely have to. If I had a cell phone, it'd mostly be used for text.

7.) I've always wanted to be on a roller derby team. I'm hoping to join one next year when I'm actually of age.

8.) I'd rather dance in front of a crowd then ever make a speech.

9.) I think my room is only ever clean for one week in a year. haha

10.) Most people like to eat, but I hate myself when I eat.

11.) I listen way better when I have a ear bud in one ear then without it. Don't ask me why.

12.) I am the easiest person to get with the phrase "That's what she said." I just don't know what I say until I say it.

13.) I love Cover songs by The Reel Big Fish. I like all songs by them actually.

14.) I'm boy challenged. I've only had one boyfriend, and when I tell someone I like them They normally only see me as either one of the guys, or just a friend.

15.) I want to be a koala Walla Woo Loo! No Lie!!!

16.) I like taking pictures of weird random things. Weird signs, weird plants, weird people. Anything really.

17.) I don't like wearing my hair up because I'm afraid of being mistaken for a guy. That's why I'll never have hair shorter than my shoulders ever again.

18.) I'd much rather receive an actual letter than an email. Makes things more exciting.

19.) I've never been on a plane and the only kinds of boats I've ever been on were paddle boats and kayaks.

20.) I prefer homemade or really abstract gifts over anything bought. That being said...I could probably start a lotion, and beauty shop with all the stuff like that I get. I never use it because it smells to strong.

21.) My favorite thing in my room is a glass chicken my best friend Clint and his family got me for my 19th birthday.

22.) I think the only time I'm not listening to music is during church, or when I'm at other people's houses. Other than that I always have it playing.

23.) My two years in marching band were by far the best years of my life.

24.) I wish I was shorter because I love wearing high heel boots.

25.) Dolphins are my favorite water animals, Horses are my favorite land animals, and my favorite air animals are bats. The only reason why is because I found a baby bat while cleaning a bath tub at Awanita and it was so adorable, and helpless. I named it Blinky. I wish myself and Zack could keep it, but everyone thought it was we had to let it go. :(

Well that's it. I hope it helped you get inside my mind a bit more.

I'm off to go record a video...maybe. Depends on what I feel like.

Third day of April and...

...I really have nothing to blog about, but I'd really like to do my best at the BEDA challenge.

I always love a good challenge...I mean I did stick through marching band. That was a challenge in and of itself.

Tonight is the season premiere of "The Best Years". Now I normally don't like shows like that, but I just started liking it. The show first made it debut years ago. I though that it wasn't going to come back, that we were just going to be left with a cliff hanger (And I really can't stand when a story is left like that). Well it has finally come back, and in good time too!!! I'll be able to see the entire season before I go off to Awanita. I wish they would have done that with Instant Star Last year. They didn't even replay any of it.

I am counting down the days to Awanita!!! I want this year to be different then last year. I feel like I alienated myself from everyone, and didn't form any strong bonds like I thought I would. This year is going to be different. I'm going to make sure I don't ostracize myself from the group. I am looking forward to leaving home this time. Last time I was scared, and now I know what it's like to away from home. I actually like it. It actually was a boost for me to want to move out, and move forward in my life. It's a great feeling.

I just need to get situated.

I just can't believe it's already almost summer again. It just feels like time has flown by. I'm looking forward to the future, but I like living in the present. I just want to know that I've fulfilled everything I want in life.

Anyway I though I'd start doing what I used to do on my live journal, and post a video of the day, and a quote of the day.

Video of the day is from LiveLavaLive. He's really good at making really artistic videos and this one is my all time favorite of his. It's "The Idea"

And the quote of the day is a quote I found the other day for a friend of mine. It's a musical quote, and it speaks a lot of truth!!!
"If a composer could say what he had to say in words, he would not bother trying to say it in music" ~Gustav Mahler

That's pretty much it for today. I will probably have something more interesting tomorrow....Hopefully!!!

Much love

Random thought.

The phrase "Talking behind your back" really isn't correct. If you are talking behind some ones back then you are technically talking to their front.

So next time you go to use that phrase, think before you use it.

BEDA is an acronym for Blog Every Day April. I figured this out through the Nerdfighter ning, and I thought I might give it a try...

Though for those of you that know I will not be able to write a blog post every day because of my brother.

It's his computer, and since he only really works during the weekends I'd only have those days to write a blog. SO I'm going to call my effort Blog Every Day That I'm On The Computer April, which ends up being BEDTIOTCA. That actually looks like it would be a really cool captcha.

Anyways Yesterday I started and finished a book my friend had to read for one of the coolest English teachers ever, Mr. Fish. The book is called "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. Yes I know it's only a hundred and 3 pages long, but I found it to be a very good book. I enjoyed it, and it made me think about what it would be like if that actually happened. I recommend it, and trust me it won't waste your life. I read it in an hour and a half (, but technically two hours because I had to take a break for supper.)

Tomorrow I have my radio show, and for the second week in a row, we are recording the podcast tomorrow as well. Now I'm not as stressed about it as I was last week, so that should make it a little bit better. I just need to remember to send the song I want to use to Jason...I'll just do that now.

Other than that I got my Awanita packet in the mail, and I am once again on Ropes course. I'm excited. One thing that shocked me was that Bama also signed up for ropes course too. I wish she would have told me. Oh well, it made for one good surprise to know that I'm not going to be out there in the ropes course alone and bored.

Well I have to go. It's almost time for church and I am not even ready. lol
